UTICalc

Pretest probability estimation of urinary tract infection in febrile infants aged 2-23 months

UTICalc applies the American Academy of Pediatrics urinary tract infection management guidelines to recommend appropriate evaluation and treatment based on age, gender, and febrile status in children with suspected UTI. This evidence-based tool helps clinicians determine whether imaging is needed and guides antibiotic selection. Use this tool in all children with suspected UTI to guide diagnostic workup and antibiotic therapy according to current guidelines.
