The FLACC (Face, Legs, Activity, Cry, Consolability) pain scale is the gold-estándar behavioral pain assessment tool for nonverbal niños aged 2 months to 7 years during painful procedures and post-operatively. This validado instrument utiliza five observable domains scored 0-2 to generate a total pain score guiding analgesic administration and monitoring of tratamiento response in vulnerable populations unable to self-report pain. FLACC scores ≥4 typically indicate clinically significant pain warranting intervention.
